Chartisan will be ported to mobile with Flutter if it meets the github goal.

You can use any of the provided adapters to create the data for your chart. The adapter is responsible for formatting the data in a way that Chartisan can understand. All the adapters have zero dependencies and are very lightweight. They also come fully typed, regardless of the language used. You should have already installed the back-end adapter in the installation page. This assumes you have basic understanding of your back-end server language.

The chart variable is the one that your desired endpoint will need to output. Chartisan will perform a GET request to the given endpoint when the data is needed. Remember that your server must also output the appropriate JSON headers.

You are responsible for the server preparation. The adapter is not meant to be framework specific, instead it outputs a JSON string that can be returned directly with the appropriate headers.

Data without back-end
Set up the data without any back-end server

We can also pass the data to the chart directly to the chart instance when creating or updating it. This method require you to format the data in a way Chartisan can understand. If you're using Typescript, this can already be seen by inspecting the type accepted by the data property.

This example shows the data format that must be used by your application in order to use Chartisan without a back-end server. Keep in mind, this is the same data structure as used with a back-end adapter.
