When using Chartisan with some modern front-end frameworks like React or Vue, it is very frequent for components to update. When you put a chart in a component and it updates without destroying the chart instance, you'll find yourself in a memory leak. Chartisan comes with a method called
destroy() on the Chartisan instance. This method will remove the underlying chart instance. This can be used to avoid memory leaks in your application or to remove the chart when it's no longer needed.
When the chart is destroyed, the chart is no longer usefull and will dissapear from the DOM.
